Beginning their careers by working alongside their father and grandfather while still in grade school, Justin and James developed a strong foundation in quality work and craftsmanship from an early age.

As a true family business, James Allen Builders collaborates with Jim’s Finishing and Consulting, owned by James Swanson Jr. (Jim), for finishing, custom cabinetry, and design. Jim, father to Justin and James, brings over 20 years of experience as Vice President of Construction for Southeastern Builders. Since 1978, Jim has designed and built homes alongside his father, earning Parade of Homes awards for two consecutive years. Southeastern Builders has completed residential, commercial, and municipal projects across the region.
